May Challenges

Are you up for the challenge?

May is right around the corner and now is the time to think about a new daily challenge to set for the month.

Good challenges to start with are goals that:
  • Don't take a lot of extra time
  • Occur (or don't occur) daily
  •  Are concrete and measurable (For example "no eating after 8 PM is a good goal" vs. "eating healthier" which is hard to measure).
Some examples:
  • No electronic devices during dinner
  • Calling or emailing a friend every day
  • Drinking x ounces of water each day
  • Eliminating Soda
  • Walking for x amount of time daily
So who is up for the challenge and what are your ideas for the month of May?

Post your ideas in the comments!

  3. Bud and Barb commit to fruit and veggies only for snacking after supper starting April 15th.

  4. Ani, Luisa and I will be talking about this when I get back to town this weekend; we're working with Luisa to cut out the chocolate milk she drinks every day at school so that might be an easy one for her. Like my brother, I think I'll try to do my push-ups or else a Gorilla workout every day.

  5. I will commit to portion control: no second helpings.

  6. I will have fresh grilled salmon or halibut once a week
