May is right around the corner and now is the time to think about a new daily challenge to set for the month.
Good challenges to start with are goals that:
- Don't take a lot of extra time
- Occur (or don't occur) daily
- Are concrete and measurable (For example "no eating after 8 PM is a good goal" vs. "eating healthier" which is hard to measure).
- No electronic devices during dinner
- Calling or emailing a friend every day
- Drinking x ounces of water each day
- Eliminating Soda
- Walking for x amount of time daily
Post your ideas in the comments!
I will try to do some push-ups every day while Evelyn is sleeping.
ReplyDeleteTom will eliminate soda and I will work out 3 times a week for 30 minutes.
ReplyDeleteBud and Barb commit to fruit and veggies only for snacking after supper starting April 15th.
ReplyDeleteAni, Luisa and I will be talking about this when I get back to town this weekend; we're working with Luisa to cut out the chocolate milk she drinks every day at school so that might be an easy one for her. Like my brother, I think I'll try to do my push-ups or else a Gorilla workout every day.
ReplyDeleteI will commit to portion control: no second helpings.
ReplyDeleteI will have fresh grilled salmon or halibut once a week
